Sr. Manager, Japan Marketing(シニアマーケティングマネージャー)
We are looking for a proactive and dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As the Sr Manager of Japan Marketing, you will need to be hands-on, unafraid to dive into the details of execution, and have fun. You will be a driving force behind our regional marketing efforts, working closely with sales leaders and partners to develop targeted plans, host impactful events in cluding our flagship event, Inspire Tokyo, and optimize lead generation - partnering and managing the Account development function. If you possess a creative mindset, a keen eye for problem-solving, and a passion for delivering results, then this role is your chance to make a significant impact in the Japan Region.
- What You Will Bring to Coupa:
– BA/BS or equivalent working experience
– Minimum 7 years of experience as a Regional Marketing Manager
– Experience with organizing events at both small and large scales.
– Excellent project management skills
– Strong communicator and creative thinker – collaborative
– Proficient in Salesforce and marketing automation tools (preferably Marketo)
– Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

– Good time-management skills

- What You'll Do:
- - Work closely with sales leaders and partners to define a region-specific marketing plan that supports targeting key accounts.
- Plan, and host online and in-person events to create new sales opportunities, accelerate existing sales opportunities, and deepen our existing customer relationships.
- Manage and partner with our ADR team to optimize the marketing/lead funnel for quality and consistency of leads, and enable consistent, relevant, and effective follow-up to increase conversion rates from lead to opportunity.
- Partner with marketing operations to build landing pages (for events, webinars, eBooks, etc.), and send automated and personalized behavioral emails.
- Be the lead for our flagship event, Coupa Inspire Tokyo 2026.
- Work closely with the integrated marketing managers to ensure consistency with strategic GTM themes and campaigns as well as PR and Media.
- Support various other marketing channel engagement projects to drive pipeline and revenue for the field team.
- Be hands-on with related functions, including Customer Marketing, Content & Channel.
