Digital Native Account Executive(デジタルネイティブ営業)

We’re looking for a seasoned Account Executive to help expand our customer base and shape the future of Digital Native and Emerging customers for ClickHouse's adoption in Japan. This is an exciting opportunity to join after the general availability of our serverless Cloud product and play a pivotal role in defining how it is positioned and adopted in the market.
Our ideal candidate brings both business acumen and technical depth, capable of guiding customers with specialized expertise to help them achieve their objectives and unlock the full value of ClickHouse.
- What You Bring
– Proven closing experience selling cloud, data, infra, or developer tools to high-growth / digital native customers
– Comfort selling to technical buyers (founders, staff engineers, platform teams) as well as emerging economic buyers
– Experience with consumption-based or usage-led motions and fast, iterative deal cycles
– Ability to design and run lightweight POCs and value narratives without heavy process
– Strong collaboration with Solutions Architects to win technical trust quickly
– 5–10 years in cloud, data, infra, or dev tooling; open-source exposure a plus

- What You’ll Do (Digital Native / Emerging Markets)
- ◆ Turn signal into pipeline
- Activate founder-, VP-, and architect-level relationships across high-growth digital native accounts to open doors early and create demand before formal buying cycles exist.
◆ Land early, expand boldly
- Close initial Cloud deals quickly (often <$100k ARR) and design clear land-and-expand paths as customers scale workloads, teams, and use cases over time.
◆ Demonstrating Technical Differentiation
- Lead competitive evaluations against incumbent data warehouses, OLAP engines, and observability platforms by shaping POCs that prove speed, cost efficiency, and developer productivity.
◆ Sell with builders, not bureaucracy
- Partner directly with founders, staff engineers, and data leaders to translate ClickHouse’s performance advantages into outcomes that matter at product and infrastructure level.
◆ Co-sell where it accelerates
- Leverage AWS/GCP/Azure selectively (marketplaces, private offers, credits) to reduce friction and align to how digital native companies prefer to buy — without slowing velocity.
◆ Own the full motion
- Generate your own pipeline, run discovery, manage evaluations, close, and expand accounts — with tight alignment to Solutions Architects and minimal handoffs.
◆ Operate with clarity and speed
- Maintain clean account plans, MEDDICC where appropriate, and accurate forecasting in Salesforce — prioritizing signal over process.
◆ Represent ClickHouse in the ecosystem
- Show up at developer meetups, startup events, partner sessions, and customer roundtables; help grow ClickHouse’s footprint in the digital native community. - Bonus Points
- - Builder mindset — you’ve helped create or define a new segment, territory, or playbook
- Experience in early-stage or pre-IPO environments with lean enablement
- Prior exposure to modern databases, analytics, or observability platforms
- Existing relationships within startup, scale-up, or VC-backed ecosystems
- Comfortable operating in remote-first, high-autonomy teams
