ClickHouse is accelerating its expansion into the global enterprise market as a cloud-first company. We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to lead strategic enterprise engagements across Japan.
We’re looking for a seasoned Account Executive to help expand our customer base and shape the future of Digital Native and Emerging customers for ClickHouse's adoption in Japan. This is an exciting opportunity to join after the general availability of our serverless Cloud product and play a pivotal role in defining how it is positioned and adopted in the market.
Our ideal candidate brings both business acumen and technical depth, capable of guiding customers with specialized expertise to help them achieve their objectives and unlock the full value of ClickHouse.
- What You Bring
– 7–12+ years of enterprise SaaS / cloud / data infrastructure sales experience
– Proven track record closing $250K+ multi-year enterprise contracts
– Experience managing complex RFP and legal negotiations
– Executive-level selling experience
– Fluency in Japanese; business-level English

- What You’ll Do (Enterprise)
- ◆ Drive Strategic Account Development
- Build and execute account plans for large Japanese enterprises
- Develop multi-threaded relationships across IT, data, procurement, and executive stakeholders
- Create competitive displacement opportunities vs Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Elastic, etc.
◆ Navigate Complex Buying Cycles
- Manage long sales cycles involving multiple decision layers
- Coordinate security, compliance, and governance reviews
- Lead RFP processes and enterprise contract negotiations
◆ Land Large, Expand Broadly
- Close initial enterprise agreements ($250K–$1M+ ARR)
- Design structured multi-department expansion strategies
- Leverage BYOC, AirGapped, and Marketplace structures where appropriate
◆ Lead with Technical Differentiation
- Partner closely with Solutions Architects to design high-impact POCs
- Quantify performance, cost efficiency, and scalability advantages
- Position ClickHouse strategically in competitive environments
◆ Co-Sell with Partners and Cloud Providers
- Engage SI partners for large deployments
- Align with AWS/GCP/Azure field teams
◆ Operate with Enterprise Rigor
- Apply MEDDICC and structured qualification methodologies
- Maintain accurate forecasting and executive reporting
- Drive disciplined pipeline management - Bonus Points
- - Experience selling into regulated industries
- Knowledge of modern data warehouse / analytics / observability platforms
- Experience in JV or new market expansion environments
- Background in hybrid or BYOC-style deployments
- Established enterprise network within Japan
